Simpsons Wesco 2004 Coin Collector Untested & Fair Condition See Description. I was cleaning this up and the front label fell off as pictured. The glue just dried up and it fell off. It will be included in the sale and you’ll have to reattach it. I believe this is a talking coin tray that would say something every time you threw your change on it but it is untested. I don’t have a screw driver to fit in the hole to change the batteries. It has batteries inside it already and I’m unsure of the state of the contacts inside. I have no reason to believe the batteries have “exploded” and corroded the contacts but I am unable to check. It will be sold as is but there’s a good chance you can get it working again I would think. The actual tray part has seen better days, which prompted me to clean it to begin with but it seems the top layer has trapped some of the staining inside possibly or it’s just not easy to clean. I’m leaving it as is for fear of ruining something else. A good chance to get this piece at a lower cost than normal, and maybe you can spruce it up a bit and get it working again or if not maybe use or sell for parts.
